Digital Portrait Gallery - King Rufus

A portrait “from within” of the second Norman king of England, William II, King Rufus, who was killed near our village in August 1100. There are no known portraits. This is how I imagine him from what I know of his character. If he was like this, I am glad I did not have him as a sitter.

This portrait was reproduced 4ft high and looked great.
This painting was done with Corel Painter. I also do portraits in traditional media. I have done hundreds of portraits in my life and specialise in child portraits and “lightning” portraits. For commissions, lectures, demonstrations or live portrait drawing sessions for exhibitions email Jeanie. I live in England but will travel anywhere!
